We start the day by picking you up from your hotel at 05:00 AM. No0s we will go to Mollepata for approximately 2 hours there we have the first breakfast then we will continue in our transport until we reach challacancha, the beginning of our walk, the first day we will walk approx, 3 hours until we reach soraypampa where we will have the first lunch, on this day we will also visit the Humantay lagoon after lunch and this visit will be 3 hours round trip, in soraypampa we will have the camp and dinner
After an early awakening with the first light of the day at 05:30 AM and a quick but energizing breakfast, we will begin the walk to the highest point of the trail: the Salkantay Pass. Continuing with this tour we will have lunch in Huayracmachay. In the afternoon after our meal, we will enter the upper part of the Amazon rainforest, which is also called “cloud forest” for 3 hours along a wide path in the thick tropical forest. At the end of this walk, we arrive at Chaullay, this will be our camp
At 06:00 AM, we will begin our walk to the small town of La Playa through the Santa Teresa valley. We will see a town called Colpapampa, where you can see waterfalls, birds, hot springs, fruit trees and flora and fauna. After a hearty lunch at La Playa, we will hike for approximately 1 hour to our base camp called Lucmabamba
We will start the trek early, after a 2 hour climb with incredible views of the Santa Teresa valley, we will arrive at the Llactapata Inca site from there we will see Machu Picchu in the distance.After Llactapata, we will continue our trek with a 2 hour walk downhill. In this part of the way, we arrive at the Hidroelectrica train station for lunch. After lunch, we will arrive at the train tracks that lead to the town of Aguas Calientes and we will stay in a lodging
This day we arrive at the long-awaited end of our trek, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site – Machu Picchu. We will get up early to climb to the top of Machu Picchu. The entrance control point of Machu Picchu is open from 06:00 to 17:00 for this we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes together with the guide, being in Machupichu the guide will give all the necessary explanation of Machupicchu for 2 hours after your Visit will take the return bus to Aguas Calientes.
Your train leaves at 2:55 pm and takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to Ollantaytambo, there a person will be waiting for you who will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco in a private transport
